There’s no dessert combo more refreshing than mint and chocolate! Try this delightful duo as a classic muddy buddy snack mix of chocolate-coated Chex cereal dusted with powdered sugar and combined with M&Ms and mini pretzels. This will be your family’s new favorite snack-y treat!

Directions

  1. Combine the chocolate, butter and mint extract in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each increment, until melted and smooth.
  2. Place the cereal in a large bowl. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and stir together until coated.
  3. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer the cereal mixture to a large resealable plastic bag. Add the powdered sugar and seal; shake until well coated.
  4. Transfer the coated cereal mixture to the prepared baking sheet. Mix in marshmallows (if using), mini pretzels and morsels until combined. Allow to cool at room temperature. Store in an airtight container until ready to serve. Serve with soda and enjoy.
