Onions are stuffed with seasoned ground beef then wrapped in bacon and cooked on the grill.

  1. Mix salt, pepper, and garlic powder with ground beef. Form mixture into balls
  2. Peel and cut onions in half. Separate onion halves into layers
  3. Wrap onion halves around the meatballs, then wrap bacon around each onion ball
  4. Wrap the balls in aluminum foil. Grill over medium heat for 30- 45 minutes depending on the size of the onion bombs.
  5. Remove from grill. Carefully using tongs unwrap the onion bombs. Place the onion bombs back on the grill for 10-12 min or until bacon is crispy. Optional: You can baste with BBQ sauce if you like.
